Local Tracey Smith has brought an international program called WomanSpeak to Gladstone. WomanSpeak is designed to support women in practicing the ‘art and soul of public speaking’ for use in whatever way they wish - from small workplace or community meetings through to large audiences.
Founded in the United States, WomanSpeak is spreading around the globe - including Canada, Africa, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. In QLD, groups are currently active in Brisbane, Atherton and Proserpine and now Gladstone.
WomanSpeak is about clarifying and owning the value of each person’s ideas and practicing how to share in an impactful and authentic way. The program creates safe ‘circles’ of women who connect, support and celebrate each other in overcoming the natural fear many people experience with public speaking. It is open to all women, from those with no public speaking experience through to women who feel confident but want to be continually developing their skills and ideas, with a range of innovative personal development resources.

TESTIMONIALS
Natalia Muszkat I can't explain in words how rewarding and supportive the circles are. Thank you for having us Tracey Smith and Cass Farias. And thank you to my circle friends for being you!! #SpeakYourTruth
Kerry Evans I am appreciating the opportunity to speak authentically in a safe space and learn skills and techniques that I can use in any situation.
Vyvyan Bloomfield Recently I had the opportunity to attend a WomanSpeak Circle. I was disappointed to find there isn't a group in my area because it was a truly empowering experience. All the women were friendly and participated fully. Not only were we encouraged to speak our truth and passions but we were respectfully listened to. Amazing because I personally believe in this age of technology we could loose our ability to communicate on a personal meaningful level.
